This policy explains what information Tour Boss collects when you use tourboss.ai, contact us, or book a strategy call, and what we do with it. We are an SEO and AI search agency for tour, charter and adventure companies, and this site is written for business owners.
Who we are
Tour Boss is based in Austin, TX 78702. The legal business is Drew Sainte Marie, doing business as Tour Boss. You can reach us at hello@tourboss.ai. We are not affiliated with tourboss.app.
What we collect
Contact form. If you write to us through the form on this site, we collect your name, email, business name, website, type of business and your message. The form is hosted by Netlify Forms.
Booking a call. We use Calendly to schedule strategy calls. Calendly collects your name, email, company website and a monthly marketing budget range.
Intake form. After you book, we send you an intake questionnaire with detailed questions about your business. It is on this site (stored by Netlify Forms) or, in some cases, a Google Form. What you tell us there is whatever you choose to answer.
Site usage data. When you browse the site, analytics tools collect information about your visit, such as the pages you view, your device and browser, and an approximate location. See “Cookies and analytics” below.
How we use it
We use form details only to reply to you. We use booking details to run the call. We use intake answers only to prepare your Snapshot and options.
We use analytics data to understand how the site is used and to improve it.
Our promise on your answers
We use your intake answers only to prepare your Snapshot and options. We don’t sell or share them. The one exception is the service providers listed below, which store and process the data for us and may not use it for their own purposes.
Cookies and analytics
We use these tools:
- Google Analytics 4, which measures visits and traffic sources, how far down each page people scroll, and which buttons and forms they use (for example, opening the booking calendar or sending the contact form). It does not record what you type into the form.
- Google Search Console, which gives us search data about how people find the site. It reports on search traffic, not on you personally.
Analytics tools use cookies or similar technologies. We use them only to measure and improve this site, not for advertising, so we don’t show a cookie banner. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on, and the site will still work.
We do not use advertising pixels on this site.
Who handles your data
We use these service providers. Each handles data only to provide its service to us.
- Netlify: website hosting and storage for the contact and intake forms.
- Calendly: call scheduling.
- Google: Workspace email, Google Forms (intake) and Google Analytics.
Each provider has its own privacy policy. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep contact form, booking and intake answers for 2 years after we last talk with you, then delete them. If you become a client, we keep your records for as long as we work together and as long afterward as the law requires.
See, correct or delete your information
Email hello@tourboss.ai to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We will reply within 30 days. This page replaces our old data deletion page.
Some data sits with the providers above, such as Calendly bookings. We will tell you if you need to contact them as well.
Your rights under state law
Depending on where you live, state privacy laws may give you extra rights over your information. To use them, email hello@tourboss.ai and we will handle your request as described above.
Children
This site is for business owners. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you think a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top shows the latest version. If a change affects how we use information you already gave us, we will say so on this page.
